Casual Vacancy – JK Rowling Went From Potter To Potty Mouth

Casual Vacancy - JK Rowling Went From Potter To Potty Mouth Linda Franklin The Real Cougar WomanThe adult content of JK Rowling’s new novel appears to have found little praise by early reviewers.

The Casual Vacancy has been described as ‘extremely graphic’ by The Daily News, which broke an embargo by publishing a day before its rivals. They found particular fault with Ms Rowling’s use of profane language, stating that the bestselling author had gone from ‘Potter to potty-mouth’.

Reviewer Sherryl Connelly was horrified by a scene in which two teenage boys surf the internet for online porn.

‘What the teens see is described in extremely graphic terms,’ the review reads. ‘Most of the language she uses to describe the naughty surfing is so dirty that we can’t repeat it…’

Ms Rowling seems determined to move away from the magical, childlike themes of the Harry Potter series, using shock value to make that happen.

The ‘titillation factor’ is ‘an indication of how determined Rowling is to handle the tough stuff these days’.

Regardless of the Daily News review, Ms Rowling’s new novel is expected to be another bestseller – two million copies have been initially printed for sale.

If this book gets enough bad reviews it’s likely to hit #1 on the bestseller list.  None of the critics liked Fifty Shades of Grey and we all know what happened there.

The Real Cougar Woman is a 5-carat diamond who knows the importance of taking care of her health, beauty, relationships, finances and spirituality. Linda Franklin says,”there is no stopping a woman who has a strong belief system, passion and a dream. All things are possible”. Linda’s book, Don’t Ever Call Me Ma’am helps women of all ages tap into their power and live life to the fullest.
