9/11 Thoughts – Don’t Let The Collective Fear Run Your Life

by Linda Franklin – The Real Cougar Woman

No-fear_designPeople in our country are scared.  Fear is running rampant because of the sluggish economy, lack of trust in our elected officials,  hurricanes, floods, terrorist threats and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.   And this weekend, the tenth anniversary of 9/11, the fear levels are being knocked right out of the park.  Here in NYC we are on terrorist alert.

This unstable foundation of fear that runs as an undercurrent through the hearts and minds of humanity, helps to create the conditions that manifest “worst-case-scenario” outcomes.

In my opinion, we are experiencing a “global transformation.” This is what is driving the momentum of the relentless changes we are witnessing.. At the core of these changes is energy. You are energy. Our world is energy.  The incidents that take place in the form of the insidious acts are also no more and no less than energy.

The collective imagination has run wild, exploring the projected outcomes that could, theoretically, come happen. It is this foundation of fear that runs as an undercurrent through the hearts and minds of humanity, which serves to create the conditions that manifest “worst-case-scenario” outcomes.

The choices you make now, especially now, in the face of this global transformation are critical.  Choose to step aside, meet these changes by not resisting these changes. Allow the circumstances play out as they need to. You do not need to be drawn into the full blow drama—not unless that’s what you want to experience.

When you teach yourself how to stay in a good feeling place, no matter what’s going on around you, you’ve learned a very important skill.  You will then be able to float over the surface of these kinds of  circumstances, contributing only to the energy of calm.  You will be declaring to the universe that you are declining the invitation of fear. That is the most direct way to bring about the positive change you would most wish to have take—simply by resisting the temptation to jump in and “set things right,” thereby fueling the fire.

The Real Cougar Woman is a 5-carat diamond who knows the importance of taking care of her health, beauty, relationships, finances and spirituality.  Linda Franklin says,”there is no stopping a woman who has a strong belief system, passion and a dream. All things are possible”. Linda’s book, Don’t Ever Call Me Ma’am helps women of all ages tap into their power and live life to the fullest.
