Having a bad hair day?  Turn those hair blues and achieve instant chic.  The tousled ‘n textured pony is always in style.  If you have long hair here’s how you do it.

-Take a brush and lightly tease the front layers of your hair between your temples;
-Gather hair—starting at the nape of your neck—and band your strands together with a snag-free elastic at the desired position;
-To hide the elastic, wrap small section of hair around the base of your ponytail and tuck it in to secure.

If your hair is short – no problem.  Go looking for a phony pony.  I have a couple of phonies and I use all the time. Mine are attached to a banana clip so you just gather back your own hair and then clip it on.  It’s quick, it’s easy and it’s fun.

When you’re looking for your phony pony just make sure it’s a good match with your own hair color.  Synthetic hair cannot be colored but real hair can.  There are advantages to both.  The synthetics are easy to wash and they always spring back to their original shape.  Finding the perfect color match might be a little challenging but it’s so worth the effort.  You are going to be so happy when all you have to do is clip it on and fly out the door looking fabulous.

The Real Cougar Woman is a 5-carat diamond who knows the importance of taking care of her health, beauty, relationships, finances and spirituality.  Linda Franklin says,”there is no stopping a woman who has a strong belief system, passion and a dream. All things are possible”. Linda’s book, Don’t Ever Call Me Ma’am helps women of all ages tap into their power and live life to the fullest.
