This is the ultimate story of sisterhood, the women of Egypt saved her. This woman was almost torn to pieces – literally. Their camera light went out, someone in the crowd yelled “she’s a jewish spy”, and her 25 minute torture began.
She was pushed through the crowd until she fell into a woman’s lap. She was wearing a chador so she could only see her eyes. The group of women enclosed around Lara and saved her life.
